WWEP activity: School design
This project focused on transforming plastic pollution into an Eco-Training Center in Bodh Gaya, India. This ground breaking project will not only have a powerfully transforming impact on Bodh Gaya, but will also become a demonstration model to inspire and educate communities in other parts of India and all over the world.
WWEP was contacted by the Sacred Earth Trust to help design the centre and helped with the design and planning process. The Sacred earth Trust has branches based in UK and India. It is a not for profit organisation set up since 2009 to support and to encourage the sustainable development and environmental protection of Sacred sites and UNESCO world heritage sites around the world, through working in co-operation with the local, indigenous people and international groups.
